Eine abstrakte Acrylfarbenfläche

Experimental Artwork

Sometimes it’s just a simple subconscious thing, something that crosses my mind or catches my attention. I take notes, make sketches, cut something out of a newspaper or magazine, take a screenshot or a photo with my smartphone. Then I start experimenting, place sketches on the photocopier and deform what I see.

Sometimes it becomes something, sometimes it ends up in the archive. Throw it away? Rarely. I collect for the creative purpose.

Art and design: Why I do what I do

My parents took me to exhibitions as a child. Museums, galleries and artists‘ houses were almost an essential part of our vacations. From Andy Warhol to Max Ernst and Rainer Fetting – I saw a lot, took some as inspiration or deliberately ignored some. Accompanied by the art catalogs on our shelves, art and design was always a passion for me. Today I work as a media designer and graphic artist.
